A new Dragonheart: Vengeance Movie is being released by Dreamworks in North America. The original Dragonheart movies were produced by Dreamworks Animation. This new release is directed by DragonHeart, the pseudonym of none other than Shane Black. He's the writer of "The Fast and the Furious," "Kick-Ass," and several other highly rated films.
His second feature film, "Kick-Ass" has become one of the most popular titles to come out in the last few years. The director has always been interested in martial arts movies, from the early Chuck Norris movies to, more recently, the Danny Lee movies. It's just his interest in action that's caught people's attention.
Part of the reason for his success with modern blockbusters is that he is able to bring his style of filmmaking to what would otherwise be a hard sell. His films are character based and often have a dark, gritty, and violent feel to them.
Some of the story lines would never work in a mainstream, let alone Academy Award-winning movie. Black seems to know how to bring out the best in his movies because of his ability to utilize special effects to enhance the reality of the characters, and his style of directing.
His films look so realistic, it makes it hard to believe some of the stunt scenes have green screen shots or have characters appear to jump from one vehicle to another. We see an entire fight in the middle of the desert! He's also taken a lot of information from the real world, which makes his acting realistic.
When he's not directing, the director and writer of "Kick-Ass" are responsible for writing and directing "Cabin Fever." He's also written, directed, and produced several other films, including "The Fast and the Furious." He has also collaborated with Ice Cube and Gary Busey on some of his films.
These are among the reasons why the movie, "Dragonheart: Vengeance," may be the biggest fantasy fans' movie ever released. It has plenty of action and strong fantasy elements, making it a perfect summer time entertainment. Its fantasy elements and action make it the perfect summer action flick.
